Yesterday, we held our first bargaining session with the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) Local 324, the union representing our Orange County-based AMAs.
WHAT WE COVERED
The focus of this first session was to review the union’s initial proposal and data requests, and discuss some immediate clarifying questions. We also agreed to conduct additional negotiation sessions on the following dates:
- Friday, September 13, 2024
- Monday, September 23, 2024
- Monday, October 21, 2024
This will allow PPOSBC and UFCW Local 324 enough time to review proposals and prepare information, as needed, in advance of each session.
We are still very early in this process with much ground to cover, but we remain committed to bargaining in good faith, and to building a productive relationship with the union.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Our next session will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024. We are looking forward to another thoughtful, constructive discussion, and will continue to share updates with you along the way.
